Things To Do In Amsterdam
Being the capital of Netherlands, Amsterdam keeps its heritage intact while adding value to its architecture with the latest technology. One of the best tourist destinations in European continent, its picturesque backdrops have featured in many movies. Amsterdam also houses some of the greatest places in the likes of the Van Gogh Museum, Anne Frank Home and the Rijksmuseum and more things to do in Amsterdam.
An art lover or not you must visit the Rijksmuseum once in your lifetime. It is a national museum situated in Museum Square and is home to many rare artifacts such as the HMS Royal Charles stern and other masterpieces of art. The gallery comprises of the following paintings,

The Van Gogh Museum
Considered one of the greatest artists of all times, Vincent Van Gogh has more than 200 paintings and 400 drawings to his credit. This museum is dedicated to him and was founded in the year 1973. Most of you must be familiar with this name but for the benefit of our teetotaler friends, it is the name of a Beer manufacturer based out of Amsterdam. Take an interactive tour of the former brewery where you get to actually taste the beer before it is canned. Even if you are not a fan of beer we are sure you are going to love this place nevertheless.
In case you are traveling with your kids, then this is a must see. It is based on a fairy tale theme and has many rides which hold an old world charm to them. It has been in existence since 1952 and will be open from 10 in the morning to 8 in the evening. Plan your trip accordingly. You don’t have to worry about food as they have some really good restaurants inside the amusement park.
